About

Bree Koziara, Ed.M. Harvard University

Bree graduated top of her class from USC and earned her Master’s in Higher Education from Harvard University. An experienced teacher and mentor, Bree works hard to support her students throughout their academic career by providing them with valuable instruction, tools, and resources, which serve them in school and in life. Bree envisions a world in which well-guided, thoughtful individuals make strategic decisions about their future and, thus, position themselves for success at an early age.

Born and raised in California, Bree began tutoring and mentoring in 2002 when she was only a freshman in high school. Growing up, she was a competitive dancer and MACY Award winning musical theater performer who was voted “Most Likely to be Famous” by her peers and Outstanding Senior by students and faculty. She graduated from Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach in 2006.

Bree is a proud member of the Trojan Family. In addition to going Greek and dancing on USC’s premier hip hop team, Break Through, Bree volunteered with USC’s Joint Education Program and studied abroad in London. She also founded the Dean’s Student Association for Innovation at Annenberg and served as President of the International Association for Business Communicators. Bree learned the ropes of marketing and sales at top PR firm, Rogers & Cowan and Fortune 500 Company, Altria. Bree graduated early with a B.A. in Communication (Summa Cum Laude 3.95 GPA). After college, Bree gained intensive research and project management experience at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLC before choosing to pursue her passion for education full time.

Bree earned her Master’s in Higher Education from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education in 2013. Bree married her passion for education and entrepreneurship by taking half of her classes at the Graduate School of Education and the other half at Harvard School of Business (HBS) and the Harvard Innovation Lab (the i-Lab). In addition to her extensive tutoring experience, Bree's studies at Harvard and work as a career advisor at MIT provide her with the most current perspective on college admissions and student development.
